The bioluminescence of fireflies fascinates kids and adults alike because it is unusual among land organisms. However, bioluminescence is extremely common in the oceans. This talk by UNH Marine Docent, Skip Small will include videos, exploring the fascinating and spectacular uses of light by plankton, whales, and most all other ocean organisms. Young adults and older will find it illuminating!
