A celebration of birds! We will be offering a variety of activities and workshops including presentations and displays on bird nests, beaks, food, and songs, as well as bird walks, stories, and art work! The day will culminate with a talk at 4:00 on “ Spring Weather and Migration’ by Will Broussard from the Mount Washington Observatory. Cost, $3/person, $5/family

Schedule of Events:

7:30 AM-11 AM: Brownfield Bog Bird Walk

Noon - 12:30 PM: Lunchtime presentation by Dixie Coleman and Lisa Thurston on International Birding (bring your bag lunch!)

Noon-12:30 PM: Bird Story Time for Kids (bring your lunch!)

12:30- 1 PM: Exploring Owl Pellets

1 PM - 1:30 PM: Bird Count in the fields (for more experienced or interested birders)

1 PM - 1:30 PM: Family Bird Walk on the trails

1:30 PM – 2 PM: Feather / Nest / Beak collection presentation

2 PM – 3 PM: Tin Mountain Migratory Bird Research Demonstration

3 PM – 4 PM: Bird Walk on the trails (for more experienced or interested birders)

3 PM - 4: PM: Bird Games + Arts & Crafts for kids

4 PM – 5 PM: Presentation on "Spring Weather and Migration" by Will Broussard from the Mount Washington Observatory (snacks and refreshments provided)
