At Nature Learning Center

As spring rains soak New Hampshire amphibians such as spotted salamanders and wood frogs make their ways to vernal pools to breed.  Many are killed as they cross roads on their journey.  We will monitor Bald Hill Road by the NLC, to assist our amphibian friends as they head to vernal pools to breed.  We are never quite sure when this will occur until it is upon us! Call 447-6991 to register to be on a call list for “The Big Night!”.  Raincoats, boots, and flashlights mandatory!
