Due to a lack of snow, this event has been cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This is the same site as the White Mountain Milers' Dirty Girl Trail Race. The course for this 4 mile snowshoe race is yet to be determined, but one can expect the unexpected with this challenging, yet beautiful location.

The Rockwell Sanctuary is Tin Mountain Conservation Center’s (TMCC) permanent home of 138 acres of critical rare plant conservation land on Bald Hill in Albany, NH. The land was named in honor of Barbara Rockwell Henry, who founded the organization in 1980 and whose family continues to be involved with Tin Mountain.

The Sanctuary is home to Tin Mountain’s Nature Learning Center (NLC), which serves as a gathering place for the community and a space for programs that foster natural science education and a higher level of community awareness and cooperation. The Sanctuary also boasts a fully preserved ca. 1800 barn, an extensive trail system, a four-acre pond, numerous unique plant species, and a small granite quarry active from 1885-1890.

Tin Mountain's mission: to promote an appreciation of the natural environment among children, adults, and families through hands-on programs in the schools, at camps, and in the community and to demonstrate responsible stewardship of natural resources through land protection, research, sustainable forestry, agriculture, and energy.
