Project KITE (Kids in the Environment) is a multi-disciplinary program for grades K-8. Project KITE was developed to support the curriculum by providing a special focus on the natural resources that sustain the economic and social underpinnings of the region. Working closely with teachers, Tin Mountain provides three presentations by the teacher/naturalist and a day-long field trip on each unit. The topics covered are listed below by grade level.
