Learn the art of weaving black ash baskets from master basket maker Alice Ogden while making a “Fruit Basket.” This practical basket (11″l x 8″ w x 5″ h) is large enough to be useful in the house or for the garden harvests using 3/8″ black ash splints and 3/32 black ash weavers, that have been finely prepared. A heavy hand whittled white oak handle ensures it will never break. Participants should bring a pair of scissors and a water tub. Alice is a member of the League of NH Craftsmen and has been perfecting her skills for over 30 years. Space is limited to 10 participants. Call 447-6991 for reservations. Workshop fee $105.
