Take a deeper dive into scientific sketching and illustration with this 2-day workshop led by scientific artist and illustrator Sandy McDermott. The theme of the program is plants, including trees, shrubs, and even garden plants. Day 1 will be devoted to drawing techniques and mixing pigments. Day 2 will put the two skills together in the field journal, creating several illustrated pages. Program fee: $20/member, $40/non-member. The program will run 9-11:30am each day.
