Staff from the Mt Washington Observatory will present both in class and field lessons on the weather, covering topics such as the atmosphere, reading weather maps, making weather observations, and how weather influences animal behavior.
Mount Washington Observatory is offering a Winter Weather Workshop at Tin Mountain Conservation Center. This nature course will be for the beginner level and will cover such topics as Weather Basics, Map Reading, Cloud Identification, Mountain Meteorology, and Current Events in Weather. Portions of the workshop will take place outside so please dress accordingly.
