From noon until 1pm

At Nature Learning Center

Tin Mountain interns have been doing amazing work at Tin Mountain Conservation Center. Up at the crack of dawn each day with binoculars and notebooks in hand, they are conducting research and gathering data on resident birds. On Thursday, January 14 at the Tin Mountain EcoForum from noon to 1, Andrea Santariello, Tin Mountain, avian ecology bird intern, will be discussing the work that she does with resident birds at Tin Mountain and will give an overview on what her research can tell us.  Andrea Santariello is a 2015 graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor's of Science degree in marine science and zoology.  She has worked with seabirds and saltmarsh birds in the past, with her passion being seabird research and conservation.  She took her current job of resident bird intern at Tin Mountain Conservation Center to expand her knowledge and experience with terrestrial birds.

Tin Mountain’s monthly EcoForum Series is held the second Thursday of the month and is FREE and open to the public. Enjoy free pizza from series sponsor The Flatbread Company, and coffee from Frontside Grind. Tin Mountain Conservation Center is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit environmental education program serving the greater Mount Washington Valley for over 35 years.
