Saco River District Ranger Jim Innes will discuss how the community and forest can benefit from the use of stewardship contracting in the National Forest. Under this unique public/private partnership the District is able to keep timber revenue in the local forest to be used to accomplish needed work such as soil erosion, water quality, wildlife habitat improvement, and invasive plant eradication.
