Fall is the perfect time to join Tin Mountain Conservation Center for an easy to moderate hike the Jackson Field Station property. The maples should be on full display during an exploration of the site’s a tin mine, historic homestead, and mountain pond. Tin Mountain’s naturalist will explain the historic use of the property, help identify plant species, and point out animal signs. This hike is a great way to explore the lesser trod trails of the White Mountains and avoid the crowds. Participants of all ages welcome. Rain date: October 6.
