From 9am until 1pm

Join David Govatski for an exploration of Mountain Pond in Chatham, NH, where we will visit a spectacular old growth forest and take a walk around the pond. Loons nest on Mountain Pond so we may even spot some iconic wildlife! The trip will be a great combination of natural and cultural history, as the site houses one of the oldest remaining shelters in the National Forest. The program will involve a 3-4 mile hike of moderate difficulty. Participants should wear appropriate footwear and bring water and a lunch.

Program fee of $15/person or $25/household for non-members; members are free.

Space is limited and registration is required. Call 603-447-6991 or click here to register.
