Historically, Tin Mountain sends out its spring fundraising appeal at this time of year to raise funds for environmental education programs in schools, at camp and in local communities. As with many other recent events and happenings, this year it’s different. Instead of sending out the normal letter and card Tin Mountain is participating in NH Gives, a 24 hour marathon of giving for non-profit organizations throughout New Hampshire. We have a $5,000 matching grant and we look forward to your support in helping us meet that goal. Additionally, the NH Charitable Foundation will match all donations up to $400,000 in the order in which they are received. Last year, the NH Charitable Foundation’s match was gone in mere minutes. To triple your donation, sign on early – at 5 pm on Tuesday, June 8, and make a donation to Tin Mountain. NH Gives runs through 5 pm on Wednesday, June 9. We look forward to and thank you in advance for your continued support. We, along with others, are slowly reopening and getting back to ‘normal’, and we have some big plans on the horizon.
