Are you excited for spring and ready to diversify what flowers and vegetables you want to plant this year? Come join us for The Great Seed Swap! To kick off this event Judi Schenstrom, Librarian from the Brownfield Public Library, will introduce us to what a seed library is and describe the active seed library in Brownfield, Maine. Then you will have the chance to chat with other local gardeners and swap seeds. These can be saved seeds from your own garden or extras that you have bought but never planted. Just make sure they are in good condition for planting. The Fryeburg Academy Environmental Club will also be selling some assorted seeds as a fundraiser. Some light refreshments will be provided, along with bags and markers for collecting and labeling seeds. Come with your friends and enjoy a fun evening and get ready to plant!
