Winter Art

Tuesday, February 19, 9:00 AM-3:00PM

Grades 1-4

Snow sculptures, sketching, and winter watercolors are just some of the possible art projects for the day. We will spend time inside and outside, so dress warm. Bring a lunch and join us for this day of creativity. We will provide craft materials, snowshoes, and hot cocoa.

Cost: $45 Members, $50 Non-Members

 

CSI: Tin Mountain Winter Edition

Wednesday, February 20, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Grades 2-6

A wildlife “crime scene” has been discovered in the forest. While learning about winter plant and animal adaptations and honing our tracking skills, we will be the detectives to crack the case. Dress warm and bring a lunch.  We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes. Cost: $45 Members, $50 Non-Members

 

Wonderful Wildlife

Thursday, February 21, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Grades K-2

Discover the wildlife of winter as we follow tracks through the snow, observe winter birds, and search for other signs of wildlife written in the winter landscape. It’s a winter treasure hunt! Dress warm and bring a lunch.  We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes.

Winter Survival,

Friday, February 22, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Grades 4-6

Do you think you could light a fire, build a snow shelter, or boil water for cooking to survive the winter cold? Learn the basics of staying warm in the winter. Dress warm and bring a lunch. We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes. Cost: $45 Members, $50 Non-members
