Chris Tanquay of Maine Drystone will teach the techniques of building with stone. We will work on a wall at TMCC learning the skills necessary to create a beautiful stonewall. Bring sunglasses or safety glasses, heavy duty work boots, work gloves, a stone hammer and lunch.

Come learn the craft of dry stone walling with a Master Craftsman, Chris Tanquay, certified by the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. The Stonewall Building Workshop is a full day event. Participants will work on a retaining stonewall adjacent to the circa 1820 barn set on the picturesque Tin Mountain land. So come pinch a finger or two and try your hand at this age old craft.

Chris Tanquay is committed to constructing quality hardscapes to age-old standards upheld by the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain. Being one of seven certified Master Craftsmen in the United States and one of 163 in the world, you are ensured a project that will last a lifetime.
