Adult Nature Course: Skulls and Skeletons
Thurs, Oct 24, 6 PM -9 PM Nature Learning Center, Albany $10 members, $15 non-members Teacher/Naturalist Sarah Frankel will share the clues that she uses to identify animal skulls. The course will start with an introductory lesson followed by a hands-on practice session including assembling an entire moose skeleton.
NH Lakes Seminar: Protecting Your Lake
Sun, Aug 23, 1-4 PM Nature Learning Center President of the NH Lakes Association Jared Teutsch, as well as Darlene Forst and Amy Smagula of NH DES speak about the pros and cons of forming lake associations to address common concerns, provisions of the new NH Shoreland Protection Act, and setting up Weed Watch groups to combat aquatic and riparian invasive species.
