The Tin Mountain Nature Learning Center on Bald Hill Road is the place to be on Wednesday evenings this summer. Besides a very active six-acre beaver pond, an old granite quarry, historic barn, pristine forests, and miles of trails, the 140 acre property is teeming with unique natural communities and rare plant occurrences. The “Wednesday Evening Walks & Talks” will explore a different natural history topic each week.

Whether you want to better your naturalist skills or simply enjoy some outdoor exercise while meeting interesting people, or enjoy an evening nature outing with your family you enjoy taking part in Tin Mountain Wednesday evening walks and talks.  Beginning the first week in July, topics will cover birds, beavers, frogs, trees, insects, mushrooms and granite, and whatever may strike the fancy of Tin Mountain’s intern Naturalist.

The Wednesday Walks & Talks will be presented from 6:00-7:30 PM each Wednesday this summer at Tin Mountain’s Nature Learning Center on Bald Hill Road in Albany beginning the first week of July. For more information on upcoming programs, classes and events at Tin Mountain Conservation Center, call Tin Mountain Conservation Center at 603-447-6991.
