Snow sculptures, painting on the snow, and bird seed art are just a few of the possible projects for the day. We will spend all our time outside, so dress warm (in clothes that can get dirty) and bring a hearty snack. We will provide craft materials and cocoa; you bring your creativity.

Join us for a morning of avian observations. Not only will we search the fields and forests for these amazing creatures, but we will also get up close and personal with the birds while assisting Tin Mountain’s avian research team banding and tracking winter birds. Dress warm and bring a snack.

Wonderful Wildlife

Tracks and Trails

Will we follow fox tracks through the field?…Most likely. Will we find beaver sign in the forest?…Definitely. Will we find a yeti’s den?…Probably not. But we will learn about animal tracks and signs and search the field and forest to see who calls Tin Mountain home.
