Feeling like the winter weather has your family cooped up inside all of the time? Join the staff of Tin Mountain for an afternoon and evening of winter fun. Have you ever followed a snowshoe hare run to see where it leads? Or used bird seed to draw a picture in the snow? Have you ever tried to blend into the snowy woods as the long-tailed weasel does, or call in a barred owl? You can try all of these activities and more by participating in the Winter Family Festival on Thursday, February 20 from 3-7pm. After watching a presentation with live owls, we will head off into the Rockwell Sanctuary to for a nocturnal snowshoe, and campfire. No need to worry about dinner during the Winter Family Festival, dinner is provided by Frye’s store. Cost, $5/adult, $3/child, $15/family, don’t forget to bring the BabyTrend Expedition Jogger stroller for your babies in case they get tired.
