Winter Art

Tuesday, February 18, 9:00 AM – 3:00PM

Grades K-4

Snow sculptures, sketching, and winter watercolors are just some of the possible art projects for the day. We will spend time inside and outside, so dress warm. Bring a lunch and join us for this day of creativity. We will provide craft materials, snowshoes, and hot cocoa.

Cost: $50 Members, $55 Non-Members

 

CSI: Tin Mountain Winter Edition

Wednesday, February 19, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Grades 3-6

A wildlife “crime scene” has been discovered in the forest. While learning about winter plant and  Dress warm and bring a lunch. We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes.

Wonderful Wildlife

Thursday, February 20, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Grades K-2

Discover the wildlife of winter as we follow tracks through the snow, observe winter birds, and search for other signs of wildlife written in the winter landscape. It’s a winter treasure hunt! Dress warm and bring a lunch.  We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes.

Winter Survival

Friday, February 21, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Grades 4-6

Do you think you could light a fire, build a snow shelter, or boil water for cooking to survive the winter cold? Learn the basics of staying warm in the winter. Dress warm and bring a lunch. We’ll provide cocoa and snowshoes.

Cost: $50 Members, $55 Non-Members
