About Us:

Tin Mountain Conservation Center is a non-profit providing education programs for school children, adults, and families that foster greater awareness and understanding of the natural environment. Since 1980, the Center has offered hands-on programs in the schools, at summer camps, and within communities throughout northern New Hampshire and western Maine.

 

 

Mission Statement: To promote an appreciation of the natural environment among children, adults, and families through hands on programs in the schools, at camps, and in the community and to demonstrate responsible stewardship of natural resources through land protection, research, and sustainable forestry, agriculture, and energy.

Diversity Statement: Tin Mountain strives to provide a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment in which to learn about and explore the natural world.  Our doors and outdoors are open and available to everyone who wants to participate.   Tin Mountain Conservation Center staff,  board of trustees, and members are united in our passion for environmental conservation, education, and research as well as our mutual trust and respect for each other and the world in which we live.
