Developed for elementary schools, a Tin Mountain teacher/naturalist visits the classroom for 34 weeks (51 hours) with a comprehensive set of activities and trips that teach basic principles of ecology and natural sciences. Concepts learned in class are applied to the field through numerous outdoor activities and field trips. It is recognized as the backbone of Tin Mountain school programs because it allows our teacher/naturalists to work closely with the same students each week for the entire school-year, providing in-depth instruction and curriculum support.
