22Aug2023

From 7pm until 8pm

At Whitney Community Center, Jackson

This evening presentation will give pointers on how to find celestial objects that can be seen with the naked eye. From the planets to the Milky Way galaxy, nebulas, star clusters and more there is a lot to be seen with just the eyes. With binoculars and a telescope more detail can be seen, but learning how to find your way through the night sky is the key to understanding where to find celestial objects and when the best times of the year to find them are. Participants will learn how to locate and observe some fascinating celestial wonders.
