Solar in the Valley will be presented by the Tin Mountain Renewable Energy Initiative (TMREI) and the Valley Citizens Energy Team. This presentation is geared to home and business owners and explains the shift in emphasis from solar hot water that had been the most cost effective use of the sun after passive solar usage, to solar electricity using Photovoltaics or PV's. We will hear from current users of solar for electricity and explain the tax incentives and how to begin the process of implementing solar electricity to attendees. There will be solar installers present to help answer questions.
