Known as Agiocochook, “Place of the Storm Spirit” by the native Abenaki, Mt. Washington has some of the world’s worst weather, including recorded wind speeds of 231 mph! Local guidebook author Ed Webster’s newest lecture canvasses this much-adored peak. Webster’s image collection including 1860’s to 1890’s stereo photographs, and pictures of 1930’s Huntington Ravine.
