From 2pm until 4pm

At Nature Learning Center

Join us for the opening reception for photographer Emilie Talpin's exhibit: Look Closer Saturday, January 6, 2-4pm. If you are not able to attend the opening, Emilie's work will be on display for the months of January & February.

Emilie Talpin is an OM SYSTEM Ambassador who grew up in Chalon sur Saône, France, the birthplace of Nicéphore Niépce and the first photograph. She is particularly interested in wildlife as well as macro photography, especially in the art of capturing insects and water drop refraction. Accompanied by her trusted OM-1 camera, she likes to wander the forests of New Hampshire in search of its inhabitants. Slowing down from the hustle and bustle of life to document nature has become an addictive passion and opened a door to hidden worlds. Emilie is in her element when she's observing the magical world of animal behavior and photographing nature's precious residents. This exhibit is dedicated to them. It encourages its viewers to slow down and take a closer look at what surrounds them. You don’t have to travel far to find this new enchanting world.
