There is no better way to learn about the natural history of New Hampshire’s fish than from Clay Groves; the man who made it his mission to catch and eat every kind of fish in New Hampshire! During the evening portion of this course, Clay will go over the basics of identifying 48 different species of fish. His talk will also include which of the 48 species are native, non-native, or categorized as invasive, and practices to in order to ensure sustainable fishing. On Saturday, join Clay as he leads a trip down to Chase pond in the Rockwell Sanctuary, to sample the minnows and other fish living within the beaver pond.
